Q. What is cellulite?
A. In laypersons’ terms, cellulite is “superficial trapped fat” which appears on the skin surface as “orange peel” or dimpled skin. In medical terms, it is a modification of the subcutaneous tissue, involving the microcirculation network, the elastic, collagen connective fibers, and adipose cells. As a result, an alteration of fat tissue, including nodules, fibrotic changes, and fluid accumulation, occurs beneath the skin.
Cellulite is the most common “lipodystrophic” condition, differing from diffuse adiposity mainly because it appears in limited areas such as the abdomen, buttocks, hips, thighs, and knees. Usually it does not pose any serious health risk. There are cases where the following symptoms do occur: heaviness and tension in the lower limbs, cold feet, night cramps, retention of excess fluid in the tissues concerned and usually pain, resulting from compression or pinched skin.
Although at present, there is not a general agreement on the main causes of cellulite, it is the opinion of expert doctors worldwide that the main cause of cellulite is due to female hormones, specifically estrogen.
This is why many females first notice it during puberty. Estrogen may affect blood vessels, increasing their permeability, and fat lobules, increasing fat cell size. The result is an excess of fluids, which are released into the areas where cellulite then accumulates. Because these fluids become difficult to drain, toxins build, and free radicals and their oxidizing activity increase and cause further damage to the local connective tissue. The “trapped” fat in these areas is very difficult to metabolize and this is why dieting or exercise alone do little if anything to help its reduction.
Q. How is cellulite generated?
A. The main cause of cellulite is Estrogen. Estrogen affects the connective tissues and the blood vessels, increasing their permeability. As a result, an excess of fluid is released into the areas where cellulite accumulates-mainly the thighs, hips, and buttocks. Because it is difficult for the liquids to drain, metabolic toxins begin to accumulate causing further damage to local tissue. The fat in these areas cannot be metabolized, and it becomes “trapped”.
Q. How does CelluScience work?
A. CelluScience works in three different ways.
1) First, it helps maintain a healthy blood flow in the arteries, veins, and micro arteries, fostering optimum activity of the lymphatic vessels.
2) Next, it helps keep a strong cell metabolism, helping to avoid “undercutaneous/trapped” fat.*
3) Finally, it helps maintain strong connective fibers.*
Q. What can I expect to feel within a few days?
A. Everyone is different. However, within a few days or less you might feel lightness in your legs. CelluScience also helps to promote normal fluid retention in the problem areas.*
Q. Does CelluScience have any other benefits?
A. Yes. CelluScience is a very powerful free-radical scavenger*. In the clinical trials, it was noted that, particularly in smokers, this formula reduced the effects of free radicals in the blood lipids by 36%*. Therefore, CelluScience can also be considered a very strong anti-aging product.*
Q. Can CelluScience totally eliminate and prevent Cellulite?
A. No. CelluScience has been proven in several clinical trials to help reduce cellulite.* Cellulite is a condition that, if not addressed, gets worse and worse with time. That is why it is advisable to take care of it as early as possible.
Q. Should CelluScience be considered a treatment for weight loss?
A. CelluScience is not a weight loss product. Since it does help maintain a strong metabolic rate, it can have a slimming effect. Results for overweight individuals with cellulite would likely improve if CelluScience treatment were combined with a low calorie diet and mild exercise program (under a physician’s supervision).
Q. Why is CelluScience more powerful than other treatments for cellulite?
A. Most anti-cellulite treatments are applied creams and lotions and are limited in their ability to penetrate deep enough into the skin where cellulite resides. CelluScience works to attack cellulite from the inside at the source where it is more effective.
Q. Is CelluScience a competitor to medical treatments?
A. CelluScience is not a competitor to medical treatments. On the contrary, it can be a strong complement to medical procedures such as liposuction and liposculpture.
Q. Is the Beauté Intensive regimen the same for everyone?
A. Yes. Beauté Intensive regimen: take one convenient, easy-to-swallow gel-cap three times a day (two in the morning, one in the evening) preferably on an empty stomach. For best results adhere to this regimen for 90 days. Beauté Intensive regimen should be repeated twice a year with a maintenance program of 3 months in between. Maintenance regimen: Take one capsule daily for 90 days in between Beauté Intensive regimens.
Q. Does CelluScience work for everyone?
A. In one study, nearly 69% of the women who took CelluScience reported seeing results within 30 days, and 94% reported seeing results within 47 days. Overall, the majority of women have seen significant results from using this product.
Q. Does CelluScience have any negative interaction with prescription medications?
A. In the International Scientific Bibliography and from the toxicological studies carried out on the anti cellulite formula, no particular serious interaction between the components of the formula with other pharmaceuticals was found. However, since CelluScience promotes strong micro-circulation*, it may affect the action of anti-coagulant drugs. You should check with your doctor before taking any dietary supplement. Women who are pregnant or nursing are advised to check with their doctor before taking CelluScience or any herbal dietary supplement. In addition, subjects who suffer from allergies related to any of the ingredients in the formula should not take this product. If you suffer from hyperthyroidism you should consult your physician before taking CelluScience.
Q. How safe is CelluScience to take?
A. Since its creation, there have been no reported incidents of any negative side effects. Despite this fact, the manufacturer has conducted 4 specific toxicology studies. Tests were performed over a 4-week period in women of various ages. All of these studies have demonstrated that the product is extremely safe, even when administered in very high doses*.
